New Job

Hi,

Sorry it has taken me some time to add to my blog. I got a new job at Yankee Candle. I'm working taking pictures of people in Santa's sleigh and two reindeer and when the weather is nice I'm outside taking pictures with a big pumpkin. When it gets closer to Christmas and when Santa arrives at Yankee Candle then it will be kids with Santa. I have been enjoying this job. I did leave the job at the school. It was because I did not have enough hours a week to work. I will keep you posted on this new job.

School Year

Hi,

Well the school year is coming to a end. It has been fun working at Sheffield Elementary School. The last day for the after school program ends Thursday May 28th. Then the before school ends June 12th. All the students have enjoyed having me around the school. I will be applying for the before and after school in the fall. I liked working there. I did not have to travel far for work everyday. I also like how I can go down to the Great Falls Discovery Center after I get out of work and help out down there.

Driver's License

Hi everyone,

Just resent I got my driver's license. It feels good to have it. I have been driving my parents car until I safe up to get a car of my own. I past my test on May 6th.

Bead Making

Hi,

Just resent I have learn how to do bead working. The type of bead working that I'm learning is Native American. The person who taught me how to bead is a Native American who I work with at the school. It is fun to make beaded items. The needle and the beads are very small. Once I get the needle on the string and then I can put the beads on and start making what I'm going to make. I have students ask me if they can have what I'm making. A couple of the students have picked out the colors that I should use next. I think they enjoy seeing someone that know how to knit learn how to bead. Mine oldest niece pick out the colors that I will use next. It is fun learning how to bead. I the way I was taught how to bead for the first time was on a loom. I'm still using the loom. When you use the loom you can put on as many strings as you want, then when you use the beads you only put on one less bead than string on the loom. I guess that is it for now.

The School Year

Hi everyone,

Well the school year is almost out for the summer. I think that the students that I work with are ready for the summer. We get out on the 18th of June. I know that I'm ready but I have been looking a summer job. But if I can not find a summer job I will be volunteering my time at the Great Falls Discovery Center and at the local library where I live. I like volunteering but it does not pay. I have a lot of fun working with the kids this past school year. The kids like working with me for the hour in the morning and the two hours in the afternoon. They also like seeing me during the school time hours. The last two weeks I have been helping out in the school library with making sure that the new books get ready to be on the selves for the kids to check out and read. The school's librarian likes all the help that I have been doing. I guess that is it for this post.

Thank you note

Hi,

As some of you know that I knit baby blankets for Navy-Marine Relief Society. I have just received a thank you note from a couple that just had a son want to thank me for the blanket. It was nice to receive a thank you note from them. I'm still making a lot of blankets to send down to Navy-Marine Relief Society.

My new job

My new job at Sheffield school is going good. I work in the morning from 8 to 9 then after that I do volunteering in the office. I work Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 3 to 5. On Wednesday's I bring the kids down to the Carnegie Library and on Friday's I teach knitting. It is working out very good. In the mornings I do either Arts and Crafts or I do exercise in the gym. I like the job a lot. I will keep everyone updated on the job.
